Freshman Student Orientation

2024 Freshman Orientation
For freshman students beginning school in August 2024

All incoming freshman students must participate in an orientation session in order to register for their classes. Freshman Orientation sessions are held in April, June, and July. This year’s remaining Freshman Orientation date is July 26, 2024. If you are unable to attend Orientation on July 26th, you will need to register to attend Late Orientation which will be held on August 16, 2024. Registration for Freshman Orientation is now open. Please select your preferred date below to register.

*Note: Due to building capacity on campus, students may bring up to two guests to the June and July Orientation dates. We appreciate your understanding!

We also have one remaining Virtual Orientation option for out of state and international students. If you fall into one of those categories, and you cannot travel to campus, email orientation@chcmarketplace.com for additional details.

ORIENTATION STEP 2: On Your Orientation Day

Step 2 MEET YOUR ORIENTATION GROUP Attend your Orientation Group meeting, meet your peers, and ask your Orientation Leaders questions. 
Day of Orientation REGISTER FOR YOUR CLASSES Register for your fall classes through Banner Self Service following your advising appointment.
GET YOUR STUDENT ID MADE Visit the Solution Center to take your ID photo, and pick your ID up at Orientation Check-Out.

  • 2-3 p.m.- Students- Course Registration, Parents/Guests- Supporting your Student, Student Panel
  • 2:30-4 p.m.- Check-Out and Student Organization Fair
