2025 Spring Semester Orientation
For all new students beginning school in January 2025
All incoming UM students must participate in an orientation session in order to register for their classes. If you are planning to start school in January 2025, you will need to attend Spring Semester Orientation. There will be two options for Spring Semester Orientation in December and January. Please check back in October for the exact dates and registration link.
ORIENTATION STEP 1: Before Your Orientation Day

SIGN UP FOR ORIENTATION | Select your preferred orientation date and register to attend! |

SET UP ACCOUNTS | Set up your UM Email and Banner Self Service Accounts |

ORIENTATION STEP 2: On Your Orientation Day

ATTEND INFO SESSION | Listen to information from key departments on campus and ask any questions you may have. |

REGISTER FOR YOUR CLASSES | Register for your spring classes through Banner Self Service following your advising appointment. |
| GET YOUR STUDENT ID MADE | Visit the Solution Center to take your ID photo. |
